Amidst the COVID-19 Crisis, Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and other 12-step programs are facing an unprecedented time along with the rest of society. We are forced into a situation that goes against one of the pillars of AA – the group. We have been ordered to shelter in place to stop the spread of the virus. As a result, those of us in recovery are forced to "Recover in Place".
